1 - Login to GVS
Login to the GVS admin area.

Once you’re logged in, click ‘Gifts’ in the main navigation bar, then click ‘All Vouchers’ and choose the voucher you’d like to set a limited validity on.

2 - Information

Firstly you’ll need to set the ‘Validity period’ drop down to ‘Specific Date’ and then select the date you’d like these vouchers to expire from the ‘Expiry Date’ date picker.

3 - Add a valid from period

If you would like to also set these vouchers to become valid from a specific date, tick the ‘Add a valid from period’ tick box. Once selected you’ll see a ‘Valid from period’ dropdown. Select ‘Specific Date’ and then select the date you’d like these vouchers to become valid from, in the ‘Prevent until’ date picker. If you enable this, voucher codes will show as ‘Not yet valid’ before this date in the system.

When you have completed the steps above click ‘Save Voucher’.

Top tip:

Try combining limited validity vouchers with a special offer or promo code. It’s a great way to increase business in the off-season.
